You may be questioning whether or not a therapist might be right for you and the struggles you’re going through. Questions are a good place to start.
As a psychotherapist, I work with people in transition. Women and men, couples and singles, gay and straight. It doesn’t matter who you are, most people will agree – they don’t like change. Or they’re afraid of change. So they try to arrange their lives so they aren’t affected (they believe) by change. But for most of us, that’s practically impossible.
When you’re in the midst of a transition that’s causing you suffering, it’s very difficult to think, much less believe, that your life will ever be otherwise. It can be quite helpful to spend time with someone who can offer compassion as well as see, and therefore help you to see, that your life will indeed feel normal again.
There is brightness of the future for you. I can help you find it.
